Omission Leads to Fine for San Bruno Park Superintendent
San Bruno Beacon blogger and government critic Bill Baker filed a complaint in March with the state Fair Political Practices Commission regarding the superintendent's statements of economic interest.

The San Mateo County Times is reporting that Superintendent David Hutt has been fined for failing to disclose information about his wife's employment with the school district.
The state Fair Political Practices Commission began investigating Hutt after San Bruno Beacon blogger and government critic Bill Baker filed a complaint in March regarding the superintendent's forms, according to the Times.

Hutt was then fined $800 for not reporting the source of income for his wife, Suzette Hutt, on previous statements of economic interests, known as Form 700s. The statements disclose possible conflicts of interest among public officials.
According to for 2011, his wife works for the Champions childcare program that operates at . Hutt's wife is the site director for the program and earns between $10,000 and $100,000.

Hutt declined to comment but said he paid the fine.
