• Self-Driving Cars Could Receive Notices Of Traffic Violations Under New Law (claycord.com) — San Bruno drivers may soon see self-driving cars held more accountable under a new California law that lets police send violation notices directly to autonomous vehicle companies. Sparked partly by a San Bruno incident where officers couldn’t ticket a Waymo car for an alleged illegal U-turn, the law also requires two-way communication so emergency crews can quickly contact remote operators and clear vehicles from danger zones.
