• Mahi And Shaw Win Men's Basketball Players Of The Week (wccsports.com) — From their San Bruno-based conference offices, the West Coast Conference named Santa Clara’s Elijah Mahi Player of the Week and Saint Mary’s Dillan Shaw Freshman of the Week in men’s basketball. Both forwards earned the honors after standout performances that powered big road wins for their teams. 
• BART fares, bridge tolls set to rise Jan. 1 (mercurynews.com) — San Bruno BART riders will see fares rise 6.2% and monthly parking jump by more than $30 starting Jan. 1, as the agency tries to close a major budget gap. Bridge tolls on the nearby San Mateo-Hayward and other Bay Area bridges will also increase by 50 cents, while BART warns that failing to stabilize finances could eventually mean deep service cuts.
