Police Log: Former Employee Accused of Embezzling $65K

Monday

7:02 p.m. Someone attempted to steal a white Ford F250 on the 300 block of Linden Avenue.

7:25 p.m. Three people allegedly attempted to steal a vehicle on the 1600 block of El Camino Real. The driver had left the vehicle unlocked with the key inside and had the attempted theft on video.

9:24 p.m. A white 1996 Acura Integra was stolen in the parking garage near Century at Tanforan.

Tuesday

9:17 a.m. A business was burglarized on the 300 block of El Camino Real.

11:21 a.m. A former employee allegedly embezzled $65,000 from a business on the 1000 block of Bayhill Drive.

Wednesday

1:55 p.m. A Ford Ranger was broken into on the 1000 block of Cherry Lane. Tools were stolen, police said.

4:57 p.m. Someone broken into a 2006 Porsche Cayenne and stole a laptop inside on the 1200 block of El Camino Real.

6:36 p.m. A on the field at Portola Elementary. A bobcat was also seen on the pathway leading up to the school, police said.
