Police Log: Suspected Hacker at Bayhill Business

Monday
7:34 a.m. A white 2002 Ford work van was stolen on the 1000 block of San Felipe Avenue. The van had green lettering on it with the words, “McMillan Brothers Electric.”
10:15 p.m. Police received a report of someone who was hitchhiking on Crystal Springs Road between the senior center and the Crystal Springs Terrace apartments.

Tuesday
1:24 p.m. Police received a call about a former employee who was reportedly trying to hack into the computer system of a business on the 900 block of Bayhill Drive.

1:56 p.m. A vehicle was stolen on the 900 block of Masson Avenue.
5:54 p.m. Someone attempted to break into a house on the 1600 block of Montgomery Drive. A bathroom window was broken but nothing was stolen, police said.
6:06 p.m. Police were asked to assist the Oakland police department with the Occupy Oakalnd protests.
6:28 p.m. Police received a report of a burglary of a business on the 1100 block of El Camino Real. Police said about $400 was stolen.
Wednesday
11:45 a.m. Police received an online crime report about a bicycle being stolen from a storage locker on the 4200 block of Shelter Creek Lane around Sept. 7.
