Police Log: Teens Egg Passing Cars at Intersection

Thursday

9:17 a.m. A man reported to police that someone stole the hardtop off of his dark green Mazda Miata on the 900 block of Hensley Avenue. He later reported that he saw his stolen hardtop posted for sale on Craigslist.

6:15 p.m. Police recovered a black 2005 Lincoln Town Car that was reported stolen on the 1000 block of Montgomery Avenue.

9:21 p.m. Police received a report that several teens were throwing eggs at vehicles as they were driving through the intersection near Angus Avenue and El Camino Real.

6:21 a.m. Police received a report that a vehicle was stolen overnight on the 1100 block of Shelter Creek Lane.

3:29 p.m. Police received a report that someone fraudently opened an E-trade account using a resident's stolen identity.

Saturday

12:05 a.m. Police received a report that two teens were missing.

10:45 p.m. Police responded to an assault with a deadly weapon in which a man's son reportedly threw a knife at his father and cut his wrist on the 1800 block of Earl Avenue.

Sunday

11:50 p.m. A woman reported to police that she believed one of her neighbors was remotely controlling her DVD player and computers.
