Police Log: Thieves Burglarize a Number of Homes, Vehicles

Thursday

8:24 a.m. Police received a report that a laptop and laptop bag were stolen from a blue Landrover overnight on the 300 block of Pine Street.

1:24 p.m. Graffiti was spotted on the side of a house near Mastick Avenue and San Anselmo Avenue North.

2:35 p.m. Jewelry was stolen and a room was ransacked at a home on the 1400 block of Crestwood Drive.

5:25 p.m. A resident's personal items were stolen at a home on the 1000 block of National Avenue.

Friday

11:55 a.m. A white Toyota Sienna was broken into on the 1100 block of El Camino Real.

2:41 p.m. Police received a report of an attempted home burglary on the 2900 block of Berkshire Drive.

3:40 p.m. Graffiti was spotted on an apartment complex on Scott Street.

6:40 p.m. A home was broken into on the 2100 block of Shelter Creek Lane.

8:28 p.m. Four consecutive gun shots were heard on the 700 block of Seventh Avenue.

Saturday

5:58 p.m. A customer tried to make a $4,000 purchase using a fake credit card at a store on the 1200 block of El Camino Real.

9:43 p.m. Luggage was stolen from a green 2001 Toyota Highlander on the 1200 block of El Camino Real.

10:05 p.m. A vehicle was broken into on the 1100 block of El Camino Real.

Sunday

6:27 p.m. A drunk driver was spotted on the 1100 block of El Camino Real.
