Love Pets? Concerned About Politics? Come Blog for Us

Got something to say about life in San Bruno or news to spread? Then a San Bruno blog might be right for you. We're looking for people interested in blogging about pets or politics.

San Bruno Patch is looking for a few more good bloggers.

In particular, we're looking for some folks who would be interested in blogging about pets and animals and politics.

Just like any city, San Bruno has its share of animal lovers. But unlike any other city, San Bruno has YouTube. Let that be an inspiration to share your passion about your pets. All you have to do is go to the video sharing site and do a search for "dog saying this" and "cat playing that" and you'll see how fun and inspirational it could be to partake in the wide world of pets.

Locally, there are a number of other political races that are ramping up that could easily be ignored until it comes to Election Day.

If you're passionate about politics and want to drive local conversation about any of the upcoming racesβ€”or just politics, in generalβ€”we'd like for you to blog for us.

We don't have a lot of hard requirements around what we're looking for in a blog outside of this: it's got to be interesting and relevant to San Bruno residents, because they're San Bruno residents.

Also, opinions are awesome, particularly well-thought-out ones, backed up with facts. But personal insults, unfounded claims and defamation aren't what we're looking for.

If that sounds good to you, e-mail martin@patch.com today, and we'll chat about how to make it happen. If you've got a sample of the type of writing you'd like to do, send it along as well.
