YouTube to Live-Stream Play About Marriage Equality
The play explores the 2010 trial that overturned Prop. 8, a voter-approved initiative that banned same-sex marriage in California.
Academy Award-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black has written a play about the Prop. 8 trial, and a star-studded cast will be performing in the premiere on Saturday in Los Angeles.
San Bruno-based has agreed to stream the event live, the company said today on its blog.

At the time of the trial, the Supreme Court ruled against allowing cameras in the courtroom, preventing anyone outside the court from witnessing the proceedings. The West Coast premierβand the live-streamβof the play begins at 7:45 p.m. Saturday.
