SAN CARLOS, CA — Residents who move to the Bay Area from the East Coast often say that the thing they miss most about "home" is having four seasons. James Lawson, a New York native, told Patch in an email, "I never expected to have such great colors from my San Carlos backyard, so every year I send my family a picture I call hi from upstate San Carlos!"

This lovely photo was taken Sunday morning.
