• Sheriff's Office asks for community's help after San Carlos home invasion (rwcpulse.com) — A home invasion early Friday on the 1400 block of Greenwood Avenue in San Carlos has deputies asking residents to check any security footage after midnight for a bicyclist who may be the suspect. The victim wasn’t hurt, but patrols will increase as the Sheriff’s Office investigates and shares home security tips. Residents can also upload video directly to the department’s secure evidence portal.
   

• Frank Sinatra Sold His Mom's Famous Marinara In The '80s: Jars Are Still Available On eBay (chowhound.com) — Decades ago, Frank Sinatra launched his short-lived Artanis pasta sauce line with a 1989 concert at the old Circle Star Center in San Carlos, where guests even sampled the sauce over scallops. The brand disappeared by 1992, but unopened jars now surface on eBay at steep prices, more as quirky collectibles than something you’d actually want to eat.
