Brush Fire Reported In Camp Pendleton, Smoke Seen From San Clemente

SAN CLEMENTE, CA — A brush fire was reported in Camp Pendleton late Friday morning, roughly three miles from San Clemente, a Camp Pendleton spokesperson said.

The fire currently poses no threat to the community, authorities said.

The fire broke out at 11:19 a.m. in the Quebec Impact Area, 3.2 miles from San Clemente. Camp Pendleton fire authorities are onsite and monitoring the fire, authorities said.

San Clemente residents may see smoke as a result of the fire.
