City Announces Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Public Service Application Now Available for Nonprofit Organizations
January 14, 2022…San Clemente, California…The City of San Clemente invites nonprofit organizations that provide public services to low and moderate income San Clemente residents to submit an application for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.

Funding requests will be considered for a new service or an established program, and may be allocated to pay for one-time costs, staffing costs, or operation costs (rent, supplies, professional or special services). Grant funds are for Fiscal Year 2022-2023, which begins on July 1, 2022. The grant funding available is contingent on the City’s allocation from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
The application is currently posted on the City’s website https://www.sanclemente.org/departments-services/housing-and-social-services. Applications must be submitted to the Community Development Department at 910 Calle Negocio, Suite 100, San Clemente by Tuesday, February 14, 2022 at 5:00 p.m.
