UPDATE REGARDING “PROJECT SUMMER” DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION FOR A LAST MILE DELIVERY STATION
12/21/2021…San Clemente, CA… The City of San Clemente’s Planning Division has been notified by Greenlaw Partners that they wish to withdraw their application, “Project Summer”, for a proposed development on the vacant industrial land situated between Calle Sombra and Calle Cordillera in the Rancho San Clemente Business Park. The proposal on file included the construction of a 104,947 square foot e-commerce delivery station with a delivery van queueing area and parking storage for fleet automobiles and vans. The applicant elected not to proceed with the proposed project, which was intended to facilitate an Amazon “last-mile” delivery station.
