Peeping Tom Sought By OC Sheriff After Multiple San Clemente Reports

An unidentified man is wanted on suspicion of peeping in San Clemente, and sheriff deputies are calling on the public for more information.

SAN CLEMENTE, CA — Orange County sheriff deputies are seeking a man wanted for peeping in San Clemente and are seeking input from residents who may have been victimized, the Orange County Sheriff's Department Spokesperson Carrie Braun told Patch.

The unidentified man is suspected of entering at least two San Clemente properties in the 200 block of Avenida Miramar and looking into bedroom windows of female residents between March 2021 and March 2022, Braun told Patch.

"It’s suspected that there may be additional incidents of this, and we’re asking for residents to be aware and report anything that may previously be unreported." Braun told Patch.

The man reportedly trespasses by covering motion sensors on outdoor lights and disabling other lighting after entering a property, authorities said.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man between 35 and 40 years old. He stands between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 6 inches, and weighs between 160 to 170 pounds.

He is also believed by authorities to be driving a newer model white Ford F-150.
