SAN CLEMENTE, CA — While Sunday may be a day of rest for many, Orange County firefighters were hard at work this Sunday after a vegetation fire broke out in San Clemente.

The fire was reported at 5:15 p.m. Sunday in the 5000 block of Camino Escollo, the Orange County Fire Authority reported. The fire was located on a grassy hill in the area, authorities said.

Fortunately, Orange County firefighters implemented quick tactics and were able to limit the spread of the fire drastically before extinguishing it.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Orange County Sheriff's Department, the OCFA wrote on Twitter.
