Where To Celebrate National Pepperoni Pizza Day In San Clemente

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — An excuse to shamelessly eat pepperoni pizza for an entire day — and find deals for the delicious delicacy — arrives next week.

National Pepperoni Pizza Day will be celebrated on Sept. 20 this year and swaths of eateries across Orange County and San Clemente are jumping in to offer discounts and specials.

The foodie holiday, not to be confused with National Pizza Day on Feb. 9, has prompted both local and corporate shops to offer a swath of deals, according to Offers.com.

From Dominos to Bertucci’s — here are some of the restaurants offering deals on Sept. 20.

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse

On Tuesday, patrons can enjoy the Brewhouse Special — Half-Off Large Pizza for Takeout at BJ’s Brewhouse.

You can get half-off any large Deep-Dish or Tavern-Cut Pizza, including the Pepperoni Extreme Pizza with sliced, diced and julienned pepperoni and BJ’s signature five-cheese blend, when you use the code "half off" at checkout.

You can also snag one of their beloved Pizookies for just $4.

BJ's has one location in Orange at 460 The City Dr S.

California Pizza Kitchen

Upon registration for CPK rewards, pizza lovers will get $5 off an order and a FREE small plate. What's more, you’ll add one point for every $1 spent on future purchases. At 75 points, patrons can redeem a $5 reward at a local California Pizza Kitchen.

In Orange County, there are locations in Anaheim, Santa Ana, Tustin, Irvine, Huntington Beach, Seal Beach, Mission Viejo and Brea.

Domino’s

The chain will offer its Mix and Match Deal, where customers can choose any two or more items and get them for $5.99 each.

Domino's has locations in Orange, Stanton, Garden Grove, Anaheim, Santa Ana, Irvine, Westminster, Buena Park, Fullerton, Costa Mesa, Tustin, San Clemente, Laguna Beach, Mission Viejo and Lake Forest.

Donatos Pizza

Donatos will give rewards members double points for every pepperoni pizza purchased on Tuesday.

The chain has locations in Orange, Garden Grove, Santa Ana, Tustin, Cypress and Corona.

Mod Pizza

On Tuesday, customers are urged to sign up for the MOD Pizza rewards program. Earn one point for each $1 spent, and at 150 points, MOD will reward you with a FREE MOD menu item.

Mountain Mike’s Pizza

Until Monday, Orange County residents can get free pizza for an entire year at Mountain Mike’s Pizza. Here are the rules:

Participants must be a reward members, and the participating Instagram profile needs to be public for a valid entry into the contest.

The winner will be announced on the pizzeria’s Instagram Story on Tuesday. App members will also receive an exclusive offer on National Pepperoni Pizza Day.

Papa John’s

On Sept. 20, this pizza chain will offer a large hand-stuffed pepperoni pizza with cheese and pepperonis for $13.99.

The eatery has locations in Orange, Anaheim, Paramount and Santa Ana.

Sbarro

Customers who sign up for Sbarro’s The Slice Society on Sept. 20 will get a free XL NY Slice with the purchase of a beverage.

Sbarro has locations in Santa Ana, Brea, Cerritos and more.
