San Juan Capistrano Activist Donna Friess Announces Latest Book
Author Pens Collection of Inspirational Stories and Reflections in Ignite Your Spirit!: The Time is Now!
Author, historian and international spokesperson for children’s rights Donna L. Friess, Ph.D. announces the HH Publishing release, Ignite Your Spirit!: The Time is Now! The book is a compilation of insightful messages and reflections through Friess’ extensive work as a life coach, grief counselor and as a volunteer with WomanSage Reinvent Yourself workshops.
Considered among her most personal works, Friess shares inspirational stories on life, love, and learning with a focus on working through grief, strengthening one’s connections and making wise choices. Each of the short chapters in the soft cover, large font format book, is her response and reflection to clients’ topics and issues that arose since she retired from teaching in 2011.
Friess says, “This book is truly a synthesis of my life and choosing to be happy despite a traumatic childhood. It is my hope that others will find joy and healing from grief and trauma through this collection of my responses and reflections to a variety of life’s challenging circumstances.”
