5 Freeway Lanes Cleared After Semi Crash In San Juan Capistrano
Three vehicles were involved in the crash that occurred in San Juan Capistrano Wednesday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol said.
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA — A multiple vehicle crash that occurred on the California State route 5 freeway at Ortega Highway resulted in an hourlong SigAlert Wednesday afternoon, the California Highway Patrol reported. The SigAlert remained in place while authorities cleared one lane of the freeway traveling south for commuters to safely pass through.
The crash involved a big rig and two other vehicles. It is not currently known if anyone was injured in the crash. The collision resulted in slow-moving lanes and stalled traffic as commuters passed through the crash site.
As of 4:30 p.m., the California Highway Patrol lifted its SigAlert.
