Bayfair Farmers’ Market Hosts Halloween Harvest Festival and Costume Parade

Bayfair Center Certified Farmers' Market will hold a Halloween Harvest Festival and Costume Parade October 29.

SAN LEANDRO, CA - The Halloween Harvest Festival takes place Saturday, October 29th, at the Bayfair Center Certified Farmers’ Market. Festivities include a kid’s costume contest and parade at 10:30am. Prizes will be given for best and most creative costumes. Family fun also includes a “Guess the Weight of the GIANT Pumpkin” with a $50 prize, and a children’s harvest themed craft!

Bayfair Center Certified Farmers’ Market is year round and held every Saturday, from 9am to 1pm at the corner of E 14th & Fairmont Dr. Family farmers bring local produce and heirloom variety fruits and vegetables that they grow themselves. Specialties of the season include tree-ripened Gala, Jonagold, and Fuji apples, pomegranates, Bartlett pears, Fuyu persimmons, Valencia oranges, cabbages, eggplants, yams, sweet potatoes, Butternut squash, heirloom vine-ripened tomatoes, organic and Asian vegetables, sunflowers, dahlias, baked breads, ocean fresh fish and more direct from California certified growers and gourmet food purveyors.

The Bayfair Center Certified Farmers’ Market is a location approved by the County Agricultural Commissioner where farmers offer for sale only those fruits and vegetables they grow themselves.
