Missing At-Risk College Student Last Seen In San Leandro: PD

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Police are asking for the public's help in finding an autistic 21-year-old college student who was last seen in San Leandro.

Jackie Wong, a student at Oakland's Laney College, was last seen in the 1400 block of Pierce Avenue, according to an alert sent out by the San Leandro Police Department early Thursday morning. It's unclear where he may be headed.

Wong is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds, police said. He was wearing a yellow North Face sweatshirt, grey sweat pants and white shoes when he was last seen, police said, adding that he is considered at-risk.

The SLPD asks that anyone who sees Wong contact 9-1-1 or the department's non-emergency number, at 510-577-2740.
