Dehydrating Fruits To Prolong The Harvest: Photos Of The Day
A Christmas gift is being put to good use.
SAN LEANDRO, CA — Miyo Burnett received a new toaster oven for Christmas that includes a dehydrate setting. She put it to use on Sunday, dehydrating apples and persimmons. In each case, she sliced the fruit with a Mandolin to ensure even thickness, then dehydrated them at 150 degrees for 4 hours.
