Excessive Heat Watch Issued For San Leandro, East Bay: NWS
Temps are expected to hit triple digits in parts of the East Bay this weekend with records expected to be broken. San Leandro forecast.
SAN LEANDRO, CA — The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat watch for most of the Bay Area including San Leandro and Alameda County.
The heat watch will be in effect from 11 a.m. Saturday through 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Temperatures are expected to warm later this week and top out over 100 degrees Saturday through Monday in the interior East Bay. Livermore is expected to set records on Sunday and Monday. Here in San Leandro the Bay will keep us cooler, with highs expected to reach their peak on Sunday.

“The risk for heat related illnesses is increasing,” the NWS said on the agency’s Facebook page.
“Make sure to hydrate and take cooling breaks if you'll be outdoors. Avoid activities during the heat of the day if possible.”
