Free Job Fair In San Leandro Thursday
Multiple local businesses and agencies are hiring now. Register in advance to win a free Chromebook.
SAN LEANDRO, CA. – The San Leandro Chamber of Commerce is hosting a job fair beginning at 3 p.m. on Thursday at the downtown San Leandro Main Library. The event is free for both job seekers and employers.
Registered employers include AC Transit, Ashcraft & Associates, Boys and Girls Clubs of San Leandro, City of San Leandro, San Leandro Unified School District, San Leandro Public Library, Construction Trades Workforce Initiative, Eric F. Anderson Construction, CA Institute of Career Development, Energy Recovery, ESS, and others that are hiring now.
"We’re really happy to have a great variety of businesses in the San Leandro area hiring at our job fair," said Emily Griego, the President and CEO of the San Leandro Chamber of Commerce. "This is a great opportunity for people looking for a new position, a new industry, or a new career to connect with employers actively recruiting."

Registered attendees will be entered into a drawing to win a new Chromebook.
"The San Leandro Chamber of Commerce has been a strong partner for local businesses for 100 years and is a great resource to help businesses with one of their biggest challenges: hiring staff," said Katie Bowman, City of San Leandro Economic Development Manager. "The Main Library is a great venue and we expect both businesses and job seekers will find it an excellent space to talk about available positions."

The job fair will take place at 300 Estudillo Avenue in San Leandro at the Main Library from 3 to 5 p.m. on Thursday.
