Fresh Herbs, Spring Greens, Root Veggies Available: Photo Of The Day

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Saturday's Bayfair Farmers Market had a nice mixture of winter root vegetables, herbs and spring greens, if Miyo Burnett's basket is any judge. She purchased radishes and, proceeding clockwise: a knob of ginger, mint, dill, parsley, deep purple beets, multi-colored carrots, red spring onions, and a big bunch of spring pea shoots.
