Harvesting Veggies In San Leandro: Photos Of The Day
Vegetables for now, and seeds saved for future gardens.
SAN LEANDRO, CA — Miyo Burnett was out in the garden early on Monday to harvest Swiss Chard which she washed and shared with neighbors.
Romeo Beans are starting to produce while the last of the fava beans are drying on the vine to save as seeds for next winter's garden.
Also going to seed are columbine plants.
Thank you to Master Gardener Miyo Burnett, for her insights and photos.
