Help Beautify San Leandro's Thrasher Park

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Your opportunity to help beautify Thrasher Park in San Leandro arrives this Saturday when the Beautify San Leandro Program holds a planting event. Volunteers will remove old plants and flowers and replant new, along with spreading mulch.

Bring your muscle from 8:30 to 11:30. The park is located at 1300 Davis Street.

If you haven't already heard of the Beautify San Leandro Program, it's a new initiative dedicated to enhancing the natural beauty and cleanliness of the city by fostering a sense of pride and ownership among residents and the workforce.

Public parks, rights-of-way, and other communal areas are chosen for beautification.

Pre-registration is not required but to streamline the event check-in process and receive updates, create a Beautify San Leandro Account.
