Man, 43, Fatally Shot in East Oakland Identified
The Oakland man was fatally shot while he sat in a car in East Oakland on June 9.
Oakland, CA— A man who was fatally shot while he sat in a car in East Oakland on June 9 was identified by police today as 43-year-old Hector Barrera Rodriguez of Oakland.
Barrera Rodriguez was sitting in a car with several other people in the 3700 block of Penniman Avenue at 10:12 p.m. on June 9 when someone shot into the vehicle, police said.
Barrera Rodriguez was the only person hit by the gunfire and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
