Masked Armed Robbers Target Marineview Home
A home on the 1800 block of Marineview drive was the target of an armed home invasion robbery early Friday morning.

Early Friday morning, around 2:50 a.m., San Leandro Police received a report of an armed home invasion robbery at the 1800 block of Marineview Drive.
Police units immediately responded to the scene, contacted the victims, and checked the area for the suspects. The victims stated the three suspects gained access to their residence through a window and robbed them at gunpoint. The suspects demanded cash from the victims and struck one of the victims. The suspects took some of the victim's property and ran out of the residence.
The suspects are described as black or hispanic men, approximate 20 years old and around 6 feet tall with medium builds. They were wearing dark clothig with masks covering their faces at the time of the robbery. One of them was armed with a handgun.
"This was a violent act in a very quiet neighborhood. Citizens need to pay attention to suspicious activity and report it to our police department immediately," Lt. Randall Brandt said.
Detectives are actively investigating this incident and following up on any leads.
