Plants Make It Through The Heat Wave: Photos Of The Day
How hot was it? It was so hot that the tomatoes got sunburned!
SAN LEANDRO, CA — This record-setting heat wave has been miserable for people, pets and other animals, and plants.
Miyo Burnett still has roses blooming and tomatoes ripening, although some of the tomatoes in full sun got sunburned! The succulents came through nicely, but she has reached the bottom of the barrel — the rain barrel, that is. Hopefully, rainfall will be abundant again this rainy season.
Thank you for submitting your photos, Miyo.
