Police Ask For Community's Help To Locate At-Risk Man Missing

SAN LEANDRO, CA — San Leandro police are asking for the public's help as they continue to search for an at-risk man who went missing Saturday afternoon.

Antonio Silveira left his residence at 3:40 p.m. Saturday on foot from his home on the 1100 block of Mersey Avenue in the Washington Manor Area, San Leandro PD said in a news release.

According to the release, Silveira is 67 years old and at-risk due to not taking his prescribed medication. He was last seen wearing a gray hat, black jacket, blue pants and black shoes.

"We are asking the community to please check their home surveillance systems in order to narrow down his location, San Leandro Police said.
