Preserving Gifts From The Garden: Photos Of The Day

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Master Gardener Miyo Burnett has also mastered the art of preserving the bounty of her garden for those months when the harvest slows or changes with the season.

She made Santa Rosa Plum, Strawberry and Jalapeno Jam that's a vibrant red. She also pickled Pepperoncini Peppers.
