Roasting Fresh Vegetables From The Garden: Photos Of The Day
This is the payoff for gardening!
SAN LEANDRO, CA — Miyo Burnett selected the ripest tomatoes from her garden recently to roast for tomato sauce. She simply washed, cored, and quartered the tomatoes, and then drizzled them with olive oil, and seasoned with salt and pepper. After cooling, she added basil flowers and mashed them together before storing in the refrigerator and freezer — some for now and more for later.
Thank you for submitting your photos, Miyo.
