San Leandro Garden Provides A Feast For The Senses: Photos Of The Day

SAN LEANDRO, CA — The August garden keeps on giving in San Leandro. For Miyo Burnett, that includes both flowers and vegetables. A closeup photo of a sunflowers reveals layers of color and beauty.

Miyo made a Tomato Roll-Up sheet with garden tomatoes, basil flowers, a pinch of salt and then dried in a 140-degree oven until fruit roll-up texture. She declares the treat, "Savory & sensational!"
