San Leandro Police Shoot At Suspect In Vehicular Assault
The shooting is under investigation by the Alameda County sheriff's office.
SAN LEANDRO, CA — Authorities are investigating after San Leandro police officers shot at a suspect in an assault on Sunday night, the police department said Monday.
The shooting happened about 8:30 p.m. Sunday as San Leandro police officers investigated a vehicular assault that happened in San Leandro, police said.
The officers had found the vehicle connected with the assault near 164th Avenue and East 14th Street, in Ashland, police said.

The news release from police did not say what preceded the shooting, but said three officers fired their weapons.
The suspect was arrested. There were no injuries to the officers or the suspect, police said.
