San Leandro Company Recalls Calzones
Galant Food Company in San Leandro is recalling their calzones because they did not list that egg was an ingredient.

Galant Food Company in San Leandro is recalling 1,650 pounds of fresh and frozen calzones that contain egg but do not state that on the label.
The company uses an egg wash glaze on the calzones, according to the US Department of Agriculture.
Egg is a known allergen.

ENZO’s Italian Combo Calzones and ENZO’s Chicken Fajita Calzones were produced between July 16 and Sep. 4, reported The Modesto Bee. The calzones were shipped to distributors, retail locations and possibly restaurants around the San Francisco Bay Area.
Egg was not listed on the calzone’s label because the wrong computer was connected to the label printer, according to the USDA.
