Stolen San Leandro Mail Recovered By Deputies
Alameda County Sheriff's deputies recovered drug paraphernalia and more than 300 pieces of stolen mail and packages early Sunday morning.

SAN LEANDRO, CA — Alameda County Sheriff's deputies recovered more than 300 pieces of stolen mail and packages Sunday.
Mail was reported stolen around 4 a.m. Sunday along Howe Drive, near San Leandro in unincorporated Alameda County, according to the sheriff's office.
Deputies tracked down the car reportedly involved and found the mail, plus drug paraphernalia and burglary tools.

Three people were in the car, including one who was wanted on an unrelated felony warrant, according to the sheriff's office. They were arrested on suspicion of possessing burglary tools and drug paraphernalia, plus theft-related charges.
