VIDEO: MSNBC's Rachel Maddow Meets High School Journalists

Six student journalists from recently scored an exclusive interview with MSNBC television host Rachel Maddow, who grew up and went to school in Castro Valley. 

Maddow was in the Bay Area to speak about her first published book Drift: The Unmooring of Political Military Power.

Before taking the stage at Berkeley's Martin Luther King Middle School, Maddow sat with six students from Castro Valley High's Olympian to talk about what it was like growing up in Castro Valley and how she stumbled into a media career.

Castro Valley Patch (also a proud product of CVHS) shot the video (accompanying the story), but couldn't have done it alone.
