What do you like about San Leandro? I like that San Leandro maintains a small town feel while at the same time having a lot of amenities - unlike neighboring cities I have lived such as Castro Valley and Alameda.

How long have you been reading the San Leandro Patch? About 3 months

What do you like about the San Leandro Patch? It is becoming my go to place to find out what is going on in our city. I also like that you can post messages, and even have your own blog.

What is one thing you want your community to know about you? I can't pick just one. I will list a few. I am married with two kids - both graduated from SLHS. I am a quiller (that's quilLing with an L not quilting with a T. Quilling is paper filigree art. I will be displaying a few pieces of my work at the upcoming Mulford Gardens Art & Music Festival on October 12th (and to who ever took the banner, please return it).

What is your favorite thing to do in San Leandro? Participate in many of the activities at First Presbyterian Church of San Leandro (where I have been a member for over 20 years): I am involved in the prayer shawl ministry; handbell choir; and volunteer at our Wednesday night youth program.
