Homicide Detectives Investigating Woman's Death in San Gabriel

Sheriff's homicide detectives were investigating the death of a woman found dead in a San Gabriel home, a sheriff's deputy said.

She was found inside a home on the 5900 block of North Del Loma Avenue Friday evening, according to sheriff's Deputy Guillermina Saldana, who did not know the specific time the woman was discovered.

The unidentified woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Homicide detectives were called to the scene to determine the cause of the woman's death.

There was no word yet on whether the death appeared suspicious.
