$10K Peninsula Delivery Truck Robbery Under Investigation

Officers at around 4:30 p.m. Saturday responded to the 400 block of Gellert Boulevard on the report of an alarm, police said.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — Authorities are seeking two men in connection with a $10,000 Peninsula delivery truck robbery last week, Daly City police said.

Officers at around 4:30 p.m. Saturday responded to the 400 block of Gellert Boulevard on the report of an alarm, police said.

Two company employees were making a delivery to a convenience store, and heard someone from behind him while he was inside the truck in the parking lot, police said.

The employee noticed a suspect removing totes and passing them to another suspect standing outside of the truck, police said.

The suspect in the truck was described as a 6-foot man wearing a black hooded jacket, face mask, blue jeans, and white shoes.

The suspect standing outside the truck was described as a 6’3” man who was wearing a bright red sweatshirt.

The employee got exited the truck and entered the convenience store, where he saw the suspects loading totes into a newer model blue Infiniti QX80 SUV.

The company making the delivery had approximately $10,000 worth of tobacco products held in the stolen totes, police said.
