$1K Peninsula Lottery Burglary Under Investigation

The burglars were last seen in a Chevy Sedan headed toward Callan Boulevard with rolls of scratchers valued at around $1,000, police said.

DALY CITY, CA — Two burglars are sought in connection with a Peninsula lottery ticket burglary last week, Daly City police said.

Officers at around 9:35 Sept. 21 responded to the Shell Station on 398 Gellert Blvd. on the report of a theft, police said.

The burglars fled in a Chevy Sedan toward Callan Boulevard with rolls of lottery tickets valued at around $1,000, police said.

The cashier told officers that one of the suspects asked for assistance with a propane tank while the other grabbed the lottery scratchers.

One of the burglars was described as being a 5-foot-10 heavyset male who was wearing a black hat, a black hoodie, a jersey underneath the hoodie, gray sweatpants, and a blue surgical mask, police said.

This other burglar was described a 6-foot male with a medium build wearing a navy jacket, washed blue jeans, and red shoes.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
