The suspects were also allegedly found in possession of burglary tools and drugs, police say.

Two men in their 20s were arrested in a stolen vehicle and were also found in possession of stolen property, burglary tools and drugs, according to the San Mateo Police Dept.
The incident began around 9:30 pm on Oct. 16 when a San Mateo Police Officer patrolling the area of Ninth Avenue and S. Claremont Street saw a silver 2015 Mazda CX-5 pass by, matching the description of a reported stolen vehicle from earlier in the morning.
The officer provided police dispatchers with the Mazda’s license plate number, which they confirmed was reported stolen. The officer conducted a traffic stop of the Mazda at Seventh Avenue and S. B Street as additional San Mateo Police officers and K9 officer Hero arrived at the scene to assist.
