2 Suspects Sought in Robbery Of Driver Stopped In Peninsula Traffic

The investigation is ongoing, and detectives are seeking additional witnesses, police said.

PACIFICA, CA — Two suspects are sought in connection with the robbery of a woman who was stopped in Peninsula traffic Wednesday, Pacifica police said.

Officers at around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday responded to the area of Highway 1 and Reina Del Mar Avenue on the report of a robbery that had just occurred, police said.

Officers determined a person from another vehicle approached the victim’s stopped vehicle, smashed a window and removed some of the victim’s property, police said.

The victim was struck by broken glass but avoided serious injury, according to police.

The suspects are described as an African-American male and female in their 20s and their vehicle a compact SUV similar to a Ford Escape that was last seen driving southbound on Highway 1 at a high rate of speed, police said.
