3 Peninsula Suspects Arrested On Weapons Charges: Cops
Two loaded firearms were recovered including a gun stolen in a 2020 Southern California vehicle burglary, according to police.
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Three suspects were arrested on weapons charges earlier this week after two leaded firearms were recovered during a traffic stop, South San Francisco police said.
The suspects were booked into San Mateo County jail, police said. All are from the East Bay.
An officer conducted the traffic stop Monday night for alleged vehicle equipment violations, according to police.

Corporal Massoni conducted a search of the vehicle after observing marijuana inside the car in plain view, police said.
One of the guns seized had been reported stolen in a 2020 Southern California auto burglary, police said.

“Another prime example of proactive policing at its best,” South San Francisco Police Chief Scott Campbell said in a statement on the agency’s Facebook page.
“These individuals have no ties to the City of South San Francisco and were likely thwarted from victimizing one of our residents or visitors.
“Nice work Corporal Massoni!”
