Alleged San Mateo County Pellet Gun Shooter Arrested
The occupants of a vehicle that sustained windshield damage knew the suspect, authorities said.
SAN MATEO, CA — A San Mateo County woman was arrested Monday afternoon for allegedly shooting a pellet gun at an occupied vehicle in the unincorporated area of the county, sheriff's officials said.
Sonia Flores, 20, was arrested after deputies convinced her to leave her home after the shooting at a housing complex near Miramontes Point Road and Cabrillo Highway.
Deputies found damage to the windshield of a vehicle. Deputies spoke with the vehicle's occupants, who apparently knew Flores.

A replica Glock semi-automatic pellet gun was allegedly found inside Flores's home, sheriff's officials said. No one was injured in the shooting.
