Amgen Readies For New Peninsula Digs

A ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for Oct. 6 will commemorate the biotech's new Oyster Point location.

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Amgen is getting new digs, and South San Francisco is readying to mark the event with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The Industrial City will commemorate the opening of Amgen’s new Oyster Point location at 750 Gateway Blvd. next week with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

South City Mayor Mark Nagales will join Amgen executives at the event, scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Oct. 6.

The company said upwards of 650 of its employees at the new location will focus on “developing therapeutics in oncology, inflammation and cardiometabolic disorders.”
