UPDATE: Caltrain Tracks Open After Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Burlingame
Riders were told to expect delays Friday morning after a train struck a person on the tracks.

A person was struck and killed by a Caltrain shortly before 8 a.m. on Friday morning in Burlingame, agency officials said.
Southbound train No. 314 struck the pedestrian south of Broadway Station at about 7:40 a.m. All trains were initially stopped after the incident.

A bus bridge was put in place between Millbrae and Burlingame, and SamTrans was honoring Caltrain tickets as of 8 a.m.
