Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?
Kim possesses a keen awareness of cultural nuances, nonverbal cues, and social dynamics that gives her the ability to work effectively with children, families, colleagues, and community members from diverse backgrounds. She can quickly assess children's strengths, challenges, and learning preferences and adjust learning paces and teaching styles to accommodate these diverse needs. I like to call Kim the “child whisperer” as she can quickly adapt to different environments while maintaining a genuine connection with each child. In her classroom, every child feels valued, respected, and empowered to learn and grow.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?
After raising her own three children to adult age, she started a new career as a preschool teacher where she can leverage her unique “child whisperer” skills.
