<p>SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — The coastal Peninsula is bracing for traffic delays ahead of a planned event this weekend.</p> <p>The Pacifica Police Department have issued a traffic advisory in advance of the <a href="https://patch.com/california/pacifica/calendar/event/20220806/1886124/world-dog-surfing-championships-2022">World Dog Surfing Championships</a>.</p> <p>The event is scheduled to be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Linda Mar Beach.</p><p>"Please plan your travels accordingly and please bring your patience.
